Production Manager – Eygelshoven


We are recruiting for the position of Manager Production at our client A-Gas Europe, Eygelshoven. This is a newly created role, due to the growth of the company.
The purpose of this job is to Lead the Production, Environmental Services, Cylinder Management and Planning teams safely, effectively and efficiently so A-Gas is able to fulfil customer orders with quality product.


As the Production Manager you will report to Head of Site & Operations (who you will cover during holidays). You’ll be stationed in Eygelshoven, combined with traveling to the other A-Gas sites.

In this role you will manage, develop and improve the safety culture, welfare and health, and ensure it’s continuously development. You’ll be leading, angaging and developing the Operations Team and Evironmental Services. In addition to all the tasks that come with the above, you will develop LEAN Six Sigma initiative and embed continuous improvement into the operations team.


The ideal new colleague has the following to offer:

  • You’re a fluent Dutch and English speaker;
  • You bring significant experience of working in an operational chemical processing environment;
  • Degree qualified in engineering or chemical subject or equivalent industry experience;
  • You’re a strong natural leader, confident in your ability to manage production teams with a high safety focus;
  • You can build A-Gas internal knowledge, skills and experience through your experience of leading continuous improvement initiatives;
  • Ideally you’ll be Six Sigma Green (or Black!) Belt qualified and a practitioner of it’s methodology;
  • Experience in a dynamic high development environment;
  • A sound understanding of regulated systems such as ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001;
  • Thorough knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
