As Product Sales Manager you are a member of the Fibrant Marketing & Sales team. In this role you will be responsible for several Polyamide 6 product lines, representing not only HSCC but also her affiliates. The Highsun Group is the world’s largest producer of caprolactam and PA6 with a strong ambition to grow its market share in the EMEA region. With a team of over 8000 professionals and a turnover of over 7 Billion Euro, the Highsun Group is a leading chemical company. Our strong focus on quality, cost and performance will enable us to capture a significant market share in the EMEA region.
In this role you will report to the Director Marketing & Sales. You will work both remotely and at our head office in Urmond (The Netherlands). All key facilities are located in Geleen, including warehousing, logistics, customer service, quality and our R&T department. Next to our close collaboration with the European teams you will be regularly in touch with your team in China. Though your job demands a high grade of autonomy you continuously have to align with both internal and external.
This role offers you the unique combination of being both Business Development and Key Account manager. You will represent HSCC (Highsun Group) and its affiliates in promoting a broad polyamide 6, predominantly focusing on the film, fiber and basepolymer segments. You will be responsible for growing our targeted markets in the EMEA region, building excellent business relationships with all relevant stakeholders at your key accounts. You create and nourish this relationship which is based on trust, professionalism and openness. Growing together with your accounts and value chain partners is your mission. This we do by knowing the needs and challenges of your stakeholders which you skilfully translate into opportunities for Fibrant and HSCC.
You are an excellent networker and able to make true connections, understanding the value chain of your customers and monitoring market dynamics. You are continuously aware of what is happening in the global markets and you are an active contributor to the overall business planning and business intelligence. Acting as the eyes and ears in the market is essential for your role as you are responsible for growing HSCC (Highsun) market share and manage our valued key accounts.
The polyamide 6 market is highly dynamic and both prices and volumes may vary continuously. Your objective is to acquire and maintain the key customers in our focus markets to ensure the long term success of our business. Flexibility and adaptability are key in order to make the right choices.
Our ideal candidate:
- Is a team player with a good sense of humour and a hands on mentality
- Savvy and experienced business acumen with a strong focus on Business Development and Account management. Potential to develop to Business Manager Polyamides EMEA
- Has preferably a proven track record in markets for packaging/film, fiber and base polymers
- Experienced and proven track record working with large international companies and sizable transactions
- You are successful in finding and applying creativity in negotiating deals an contracts. Finding the best mutual deal is giving you energy
- Good and to the point written and oral communication skills in English
- Is able to turn analyses and market insights into strategic commercial options for the Fibrant team
- Is driven by a growth and winners mentality
- Connects with people of various disciplines inside and outside the organization
- Obtained strong analytical skills and works in a very structured way
- We are interested to meet candidates who can operate at a Master degrees level (obtained by education or through experience).
