Our story begins in 1952, when we commissioned our first factory for the production of Caprolactam in The Netherlands. Nowadays, Fibrant is part of HSCC (also known as Highsun Group China). Together we are the largest Caprolactam and Ammonium Sulfate producer in the world with production facilities in The Netherlands (Geleen) and China (Fuzhou and Nanjing).

This we do by knowing the needs and challenges of your stakeholders which you skilfully translate into opportunities for Fibrant. As Product Sales Manager EcoLactam® you are a member of the Fibrant Marketing & Sales team.

In this role you will be responsible for the EcoLactam® product line, in which positioning our low carbon footprint EcoLactam® portfolio including our circular and biobased products is key. As an excellent networker you are able to make true connections, understanding the value chain of your customers and monitoring market dynamics.

  • You are continuously aware of what is happening in the global markets and you are an active contributor to the overall business planning and business intelligence.
  • Acting as the eyes and ears in the market is essential for your role as you are responsible for all EcoLactam® key accounts (€50 – 100M) located around the world, thereby realizing a substantial part of the Fibrant sales value.

The Caprolactam market is highly dynamic and both prices and volumes may vary continuously. Your objective is to gain and maintain the best customers in the market to ensure the long term success of our business. Flexibility and adaptability are key in order to make the right choices. Furthermore you actively explore new business opportunities.

In this role you will report to the Director Marketing & Sales. You will be located in our head office in Urmond (The Netherlands). Our production and R&T facilities are located in Geleen. Though your job demands a high grade of autonomy you continuously have to align with both internal (supply chain management, R&T, finance & control, customer service & logistics, manufacturing and quality department) and external (customers, suppliers) stakeholders.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is:

  • able to turn analyses and market insights into strategic commercial options for the Fibrant team

  • communicating fluently in English and is able to adapt to different cultures
  • connecting with people of various disciplines inside and outside the organization
  • having a proven track record in senior sales/marketing positions in the chemical industry
  • having strong analytical skills and works in a very structured way.

We are interested to meet candidates who can operate at a Master degrees level (obtained by education or through experience).
