Are you that Sales & Industrial marketing professional who values huge responsibility and autonomy?
Having a high degree of responsibility and autonomy, you cooperate in a dynamic international market with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the success of our Caprolactam commodity businesses and challenges.
Our story begins in 1952, when we commissioned our first factory for the production of Caprolactam in The Netherlands. With a second facility in the US (Augusta, 1966) and a third in China (Nanjing, 2002), we became the first true global producer and supplier of high quality chemical performance products and services.
In 2015, CVC Capital Partners acquired 65% of the business from DSM, which retained the remaining 35%. A unique partnership that combines the financial security of a leading global advisory firm, with a worldwide logistical network of a major chemicals powerhouse. We are fit and ready for the future. We employ over 1.200 people on three different continents who’s mission it is to create pure and state-of-the-art chemical products that make a difference.
With an annual production capacity of over 900 kilotons, we produce 20 percent of the total global production of Caprolactam. Additionally, we produce 1.500 kilotons ammonium sulphate for wide variety of applications. Our aim is to expand our business even further to become (or maintain) the undisputed market leader of Caprolactam and its by-products.
This role offers you the unique combination of being both Account & Industrial Marketing manager. As Product Sales Manager for Caprolactam you are a member of the Fibrant Sales & Marketing team. You are looking after and are directly responsible for a relative large amount of small to medium sized accounts in Europe.
The caprolactam, but also cyclohexanone, market is highly dynamic and both prices and volumes may vary continuously. Your objective is to gain and maintain the best customers in the market to ensure the long term success of our business. Flexibility and adaptability are key to always be able to make the right choices. Furthermore you actively explore new business opportunities by business intelligence.
In this role you will report to the Director Marketing & Sales. You will be located in the European head office in Sittard (The Netherlands). Our production facilities are located in Geleen. You are one of the few faces towards our customers in our business, able to negotiate the best deal on both prices and volumes at strategic level.
We are interested to meet candidates who can operate at a Master level and who are looking for a third or fourth career step.
Are you inspired by a high degree of autonomy? Are you able to communicate to and connect with people of various disciplines inside and outside the organization?
